South India super star Vikram attended the promotional event and audio release of his upcoming movie Deiva Thirumagan at Kovalam Taj Hotel, Trivandrum on 25 May 2011. Deiva Thirumagan heroine Anushka Shetty and Malayali actress Amala Paul also attended the function. Amala Paul is play a major role in Deiva Thirumagan. Vikram had a brief chat after the audio launch and posed near hotel pool for media.
In Deiva Thirumagan, Vikram in the lead role as a mentally challenged adult with the maturity of a five-year-old boy, while Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul and Nassar portray other pivotal roles. The film is directed and written by A.L.Vijay and produced by veteran Mogan Natarajan under the Sree Rajakalliamman Medias. Music by GV Prakash and the camera is by Nirav Shah and is edited by Antony.
Deiva Thirumagan is based on the Hollywood movie I Am Sam. Deiva Thirumagan is slated to release on June 17, 2011. Because June 17 seems to be a lucky date for Vikram.
