veteran Malayalam actress Sheela is acting as Mohanlal’s mother in Sathyan Anthikkad, the film to be produced by Aashirwad Cinemas. Mohanlal will do the hero role in this untitled film.
According to reports, the story of the film, set in a village backdrop, is an emotional drama between a mother and a son. The film was launched at AVM RR theatre, Chennai on May 27 and the shooting will start on June 15 in Palakkad. Padmapriya will do the heroine role. The main cast includes Innocent, K.P.A.C. Lalitha, Biju Menon, Asokan and Mamukoya. Venu will handle the camera.
In 2003 Sheela played as Jayaram’s mother in Manassinakkare. It was directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and Manassinakkare was a super hit at box office.
