Dear sir , It is noted that all the the major public sector institutions and government agencies like Kochi Refineries Ltd[KRL] , All India Radio Kochi , Doordarshan Kochi station ,Cochin Stock Exchange Ltd[ CSL], Cochin Port Trust [CPT], Cochin Shipyard Ltd[CSL], Cochin International Airport Ltd[CIAL], Spice board Kochi , Coconut development Board Kochi , Coir board Kochi , Cochin University of Science and Technology[CUSAT] etc have the tag of COCHIN or KOCHI in its prefix or suffix .
All the print media are datelining Cochin or Kochi in their publications.
So far as the electronic media is concerned , the bureau HQ or telecasting centers from Cochin or Kochi .
ONLY THE PRESS CLUB OF ERNAKULAM & INDIAN RAILWAY is still using Ernakulam which is now ONLY a western part of present city of Cochin .
So , plz christen your club’s name[the Cochin journalist association ] into COCHIN PRESS CLUB.
