Now it came to a successful, colourful and beautiful end… We are talking about
the ‘Kochi International Fashion Week’, which marked itself a grand success and came to an end… The day gave us a feeling that celebrities rules…! The celebrities starting from the senior actress Jayabharathi and the beautiful Suhasini, to the bold and powerful Babu Antony, and the Brand Ambassador of the KIFW, the stylish young actress Mamta Mohandas, walked the runway at the Kochi International Fashion Week and made the event a treat for our eyes…! Now Kochi is at great heights…!
The Bollywood actress and the well known model, Kangana Ranaut reflected her
presence at the second show, in which Mamta Mohandas made her first ramping in the event and grabbed the attention. The presence of Swetha Menon, the bold actress who gave ‘Rathi chechi’ a second birth, through the remake of the Jayabharathi classic ‘RATHINIRVEDAM’, made the scene rich. When both the Rathi chechi’s united in the ramp it was a historic moment, of course…The new Actress Karthika, who excelled in ‘KO’ and ‘MAKARAMANJU’, came along with her mother Radha the old actress. Shawar Ali, Munna, Kailash, Priya Anand, Ranjini Haridas and many more celebrities and models made the conclusion of the show an ever memorable moment.
Three nights, eleven shows and sixty sexy and glamorous models… They wore the
costumes of various designers; including contemporary kurtas, Rajastani costumes, Khadi
wears, innovative shirts, t-shirts with silly slogans, sexy shorts, baggy Bermudas and trousers, and ramped the floor. The queen of the Arabian Sea, our own Kochi, now stands up to other metro cities of India by this eve. The words of the organizers that the show was a great success, indicates that the ‘Kochi International Fashion Week’ will be held every year here after… A great achievement…!!! Hats off to all those behind this…
