MA Nishad is a happy man these days with his movie “Vairam” doing well at the box office. He was speaking at a press conference recently when he said that the fans’ associations were the biggest curse for Malayalam cinema. He added that through “Vairam”, he was trying to revive commercial cinema which was losing its hold in the industry. He felt that there were some producers who were willing to invest into some meaningful cinema. He meanwhile added that compared to his earlier films, he has focused more on the emotional aspects in “Vairam”.
