Again a classic remake…? Yes, ‘Chattakkari’ the story of an Anglo Indian girl which was directed by K S Sethumadhavan in 1974, is about to be remade by his son Santhosh Sethumadhavan.
The more exciting news regarding this is that, Maithili will be doing the role of Julie, which was made alive by Lakshmi. Maithili who debuted in ‘Palerimanikyam’ finds this as the most challenging role in her career. The character requires glamorous scenes and Lakshmi’s performance was beyond the expectations.
One thing is sure. She must do the role more superbly than Lakshmi; this will fetch her good results in the industry.
