According to earlier buzz, Amala Paul would play director Ranjith – Prithviraj’s new film ‘Indian Rupee’ as heroine. But source close to actress from Chennai says, she will not act in ‘Indian Rupee’ because now she is busy with Tamil films and she is planing to focus only in Tamil films.
Amala Paul’s first Tamil film ‘Mynaa’ was super hit at Tamil box office. Now she is busy with four big projects in tamil, super star Vikram’s ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ directed by Madarasapattinam Vijay, Pandiaraj’s next film opposite Vimal, Arya’s Vettai directed by Lingusamy and Atharva’s Mupozhudum Un Karpanaigal.
In Vikram’s ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ she plays the role of an urban rich girl while she will be seen as a village belle in Pandiaraj’s film.
She had earlier acted in two Malayalam films – in a cameo in Lal Jose’s ‘Neelathamara’ and also in ‘Ithu Nammude Katha’.
